I’m VJ, the proud owner of Picklelicious Curries. My journey began with crafting pickles, which inspired our brand name; “Picklelicious.”
Just before the pandemic, I took a bold step, leaving my 15-year career to pursue my dream of sharing my love for food. Cooking has always held a special place in my heart, rooted in cherished memories of my father.
Every Sunday, he transformed our kitchen into a haven, allowing my mum a well-deserved break while he created culinary magic with his spices, accompanied by old songs. He often said, “Food cooked from the heart touches the soul.”
For me, Picklelicious is more than a takeaway; it’s a tribute to that beautiful bond between my father and food. I invite you to savor the love and passion infused in every bite of our freshly made curries, and experience that same warmth we cherish.

Chef Naman's culinary journey began in a modest Indian kitchen, igniting his passion for spices and traditional cooking. Over the years, he developed this passion into a remarkable career in elite kitchens at India's finest hotels, including the Hyatt and Oberoi, where he mastered North Indian cuisine. Now based in Wakefield, he has joined Picklelicious Curries with the goal of bringing authentic Indian flavors to the local community. Chef Naman believes that 'food is his language,' and through it, he aims to connect with people and share the joy of Indian cuisine.
